ClearSmile Inman Aligner

ClearSmile Inman Aligner

Why should I straighten my teeth?

Because crooked teeth always crowd more over time and are more likely to chip as a result. It will also make it easier to maintain good oral hygiene.

Does it hurt?

The Inman Aligner applies only gentle pressure so any initial discomfort is minimised.

How does it work?

Two clear bows in front and behind your teeth are activated by springs. These create a gentle pressure that guides the front teeth into their ideal position.

How many hours a day should the Inman Aligner be worn?

20+ hours a day

Will it interfere with speech?

There will be some interference, especially at the beginning, this will ease as you get used to wearing your Inman Aligner.

How long will the treatment take?

Most cases usually complete in 6-16 weeks

Is it visible?

Only a clear plastic bow is visible on the front of your teeth

Will I need a retainer?

Yes. As is the case with any orthodontic treatment, you must wear a retainer for life. This means you will have your newly aligned teeth retained by either a removable clear retainer, which is worn for varying periods or a permanent bonded retainer which is fixed to the back of your teeth, in some cases both fixed and removable retainers may be necessary.
