Then she made the decision to return home to Northern Ireland and soon after purchased the current practice in 1999. Marilyn then went on to obtain her Diploma of Membership of the Faculty of General Dental Practitioners in 2004.
Marilyn also studied dental implantology and has a very keen interest in this field. She has been placing implants for many years, getting huge satisfaction from the delighted reactions of her patients, who would have otherwise been destined to a life of denture wearing.

Marilyn has completed a highly acclaimed, advanced restorative, aesthetic and implant course as part of her ongoing professional development. This enables her to stay abreast of all the latest innovative techniques available within dentistry.
She is a member of the IAAD (Irish Academy of Aesthetic Dentistry) and has completed an intensive year long restorative course.
Her many years of clinical experience and dedication, within her profession, have culminated in skill and expertise in all areas of clinical dentistry.
Marilyn is one of the most experienced practitioners in Northern Ireland in the placement of anti wrinkle injections and dermal fillers.
Her facial line softening business due to its success is now a separate business to Moira Dental Care.
